Experience Design, also known as Adobe XD, is a UX design platform for creating web apps and mobile apps, available for free to every student at the University of Michigan as part of the Adobe Creative Suite. XD uses an iterative design process for collaboration and sharing progress in realtime and offers user interface starter kits from Apple, Google, Microsoft, and the community. XD also features tools like the Repeat Grid and the Assets panel, and offers components with powerful overrides, allowing users to leverage files from other apps and Creative Cloud Libraries, resize elements, use plugins, collaborate in real time. Some of the tools are fairly intuitive, and XD has a fairly easy to moderate learning curve. We suggest you familiarize yourself with these through the LinkedIn Learning essential training for the best experience with the application, however XD also includes some in-app tutorials to help you navigate and explore the tools available.
