Adobe Aero is available to every University of Michigan student as an Adobe Creative Cloud app, made to build, view, and share immersive AR experiences. While primarily on iOS, it is now available as a public beta for desktop on Mac and Windows. Aero allows users to use their existing files from 3rd party apps like Blender, Cinema 4D or TurboSquid, and other Adobe apps, like Photoshop, Illustrator, Dimension, etc. to turn them into a 3D augmented reality experience. It also includes modeling tools to build up a scene from scratch. Aero enables users to add interactivity, set animation pathways, create real spatial depth with layers and audio, all activated by triggers like location proximity or touch cues on the app. AR brings your work into the real world, making a phone camera a window into creativity. Aero has a fairly easy learning curve, but we still suggest you familiarize yourself through Adobe's free training materials for the best experience with the application.
