British Heart Foundation has been our staff-nominated charity since 2017.
We were the first UK hotel brand to support the charity’s RevivR launch, a free, interactive, online CPR training course. We have a goal of every colleague being trained in CPR.

Take 15 minutes to learn lifesaving CPR
Many of us will witness a cardiac arrest in our lifetime. Be ready for that day. Learn how to save a life.
There are over 30,000 out-of-hospital cardiac arrests every year in the UK and most of these happen in the home so you may need to perform CPR on a loved one.
We're so proud to support BHF and their online tool RevivR.
In just 15 minutes you could learn CPR using the BHF's interactive tool, a cushion and your mobile phone or a tablet.

Risk factors are conditions or habits that increase your risk of developing a disease. The good news is many heart and circulatory diseases are caused by risk factors that can be controlled, treated or modified. Examples include high cholesterol, physical inactivity, high blood pressure, diabetes and smoking.
The chemicals in cigarettes make the walls of your arteries sticky. This causes fatty material to stick to the walls. The fatty material can begin to clog your arteries and reduce the space for blood to flow properly.
If the arteries that carry blood to your heart get clogged, it can lead to a heart attack
If the arteries that carry blood to your brain get clogged, it can lead to a stroke
Living with excess weight or obesity can increase your risk of heart and circulatory diseases like heart attacks, strokes and vascular dementia.
