My Enrollment is Taking Too Long, What Should I Do?
There is a 2-week pre-payday window before each payday during which new enrolments take a little longer. This delay happens because Travelodge payroll has already been processed for the upcoming payday. Wagestream needs to wait until the next pay cycle to complete your enrollment and link your earnings.
If you sign up during this time, your enrolment will be processed on or just after payday, which means you may need to wait a bit longer to access Wagestream features.
To avoid this delay, we recommend signing up before that 2-week window. If you do this, your enrollment typically completes within 24 to 48 hours.
My Shifts are Missing, What Should I Do?
Please reach out to your HM to ask about any worked shifts missing from your Stream account.
Your timecards should be approved and submitted for Stream to be able to see them.
How Is My Available Balance Calculated?
Your gross earnings in the Stream app are based on your hourly rate (if you are an hourly employee) or your salary (if you are a salaried employee).
(NOTE: Gross means the total amount before any deductions like tax and National Insurance.)
Travelodge sends your shift/salary data to Stream, and then they add it to the app.
Your earnings will include the hours you have worked up to now.
Your available balance will not be the same as your earnings. The 30% limit is applied to your earnings by default.
These can include a cap on what percentage of your earnings you can get early, the most money you can get early, and the most pay transfers you can make in one pay period. This will be shown in your balance calculation in the app.
A full breakdown of how your balance was calculated can be found by tapping the ℹ️ symbol at the top of the Track page.
The app follows Travelodge pay cycle. So, if your regular payday is at the end of the month or every four weeks, your available balance will be calculated up to the current date in that pay cycle.
How Is My Daily Salary Calculated? (Salaried colleagues)
If you are a salaried colleague (not hourly), Stream calculates your earnings a bit differently.
They create a daily salary for you using this formula:
Annual salary / 12 = Monthly Accrual.
Monthly Accrual / Number of days in the month = Daily Accrual.
This means the daily accrual amount might change each month because of the different number of days.
NOTE: You can find a breakdown of your salary calculation by clicking on the ‘Earnings’ tile in Track.
How Is My Holiday/Sick/Parental Leave Pay Calculated?
Your balance will only show shifts worked at your regular rate. It does not include holiday, parental leave (maternity/paternity/adoption), or sick leave. However, rest assured that any holiday/leave wages will still be in your paycheck.
If you have questions about your leave pay, please email benefits@travelodge.co.uk
How Does Stream Affect Monzo's 'Get Paid Early'?
How Monzo's 'Get Paid Early' works: Monzo lets you get your salary one business day early.
Here is how it works: When your salary is sent, it shows as a pending transaction in your Monzo account. You can then get the money one business day before it is officially paid.
How does Monzo do this? This happens because salaries are processed through BACS (a regulated payment system for money transfers in the UK). There are three types of bank transfers in the UK: BACS, CHAPS, and Faster Payments.
How do Stream process salaries? Stream processes salaries differently: Salaries are sent using Faster Payments instead of BACS. Because of this, your salary will not show as a pending transaction in your bank account, so you cannot get it early.
What does this mean for you? You will still get paid on your payday as usual. However, if you use Stream, you will not get early access to your salary in the same way.
That said, Stream offers a special benefit: you can transfer your wages anytime before payday. Instead of showing as "pending," your wages are available to you until payday.
