For Mental Health Awareness Week 2023 our focus was anxiety. At Travelodge we know that anxiety can be a difficult and overwhelming experience, and we want to remind our colleagues that they are not alone. That's why we're proud to offer an Employee Assistance Programme (EAP) that provides support for a variety of areas, including anxiety. Take a look at our EAP page for more information.
Everyone will experience feelings of anxiety at some point in their life; it's a natural human response when we feel that we are under threat, and can be experienced through our thoughts, feelings and physical sensations.
Sometimes these feelings can become difficult to manage, and impact our daily lives, so we've created a handy guide with some tips that may help to reduce these feelings .

Living with anxiety can be challenging, but it's important to remember that you're not alone.
Travelodge colleague Deb shares her story about living with anxiety and panic attacks. It takes a lot of courage to open up about mental health struggles, and we're grateful for her honesty and vulnerability. Let's continue to support each other and break down the stigma surrounding mental health.
