All new colleagues have a three month probation period when joining Travelodge. This is to provide time for the colleague to be given all essential training, enable us to assess the employee’s ability to complete the tasks needed to an acceptable standard, and to allow the colleague to make an informed decision about whether the role is right for them.
We may extend the employee’s probationary period, should this be considered necessary for any reason. Any extension should be discussed with you People Services Advisor and explained to the employee. Any extension should be confirmed in writing.
