About me

About me:

My name is Teagan Slone. I was born in Maryland in 2004 to a military family, and after a few moves I ended up in Maine which is where I reside now. I have a younger sister and a cat. My career goal is to become a physiatrist after attending Boston College, and hopefully live in the Boston area. Art has been a big part of my life for a long time, and I dabble in different mediums. I really enjoy to draw with pen, but I also enjoy sewing and embroidery. I also am a big fan of watching movies in my free time. I would also say that Movies are my favorite art form, mostly because of the aspect of cinematography, which is something that encourages me to look more into photography. My favorite movie at the time of writing this is La La Land (but this is always changing). Three words I would use to describe myself would be: sentimental, empathetic, self-conscious.

Jack Vettriano, The Singing Buttler, 1992

I Like this piece a lot becasue my parents have a copy of it, and it has followed us through every move. It has always made me feel comfortabel and I enjoy the lighting in the piece a lot.

Charles O'Rear, Bliss, 1996

I like this photo a lot becasue it is the windows screen saver, and becasue of that has a very distinct feeling. It also might be the most viewed photo ever due to it being the original windows screen saver

Pablo Picasso, Starry Night, 1889

I know this is basic, but I think that this picture is really cool and is a stable of this kind of art. The abstract work is super cool and it is such a iconic photo that is known by so many

Takashi Watabe, Akira, 1990

Though I am not a big fan of this movie, I think that it is very well drawn. For a movie so old it is very impressive and still holds up today due to the quality, and the art style is one that influnced so much

Andy Warhol, Marilyn Monroe, 1967

I have always thought this art movement and a ot of andy warhol's art was really interesting and still sticks with me. I think the prints also look really cool.
