One point drawing

Artist Statement:

In my art projects I only used pencil because i thought it looked good and would be the easiest to work with. To make my summative assignment i had to take a picture of the hall and find the center point. once I did i had to draw the hallway and then add my own tough too it. The thing I added if you couldn't tell was a train coming down the hall because it looked like a subway.. When I first was drawing my picture I left a lot of lines but afterwards I erased them all. In my room picture I did almost the same thing as the hallway but instead of working from a picture I designed it myself .

In both of my pictures I think i did a good job with the lines because i Used a ruler and they all go to the point in the center. In the hallway I did a good job drawing the train and I think I made a metallic typed texture. I added a lot of shading and also there was a lot of unity from both sides of the hall not being identical but a little different.

In both of my pictures there is not much of a story except there is a train in the hall. In the bedroom i tried to make it very modern and retro (what i would like in a room) and I think I did that with the posters. The room Picture relates to my life a lot because that is something that I would like In my art i am definitely proudest of the train and in the bedroom the stairs. The stairs where really hard to do and i think they turned out cool. The train I drew was hard but I think it turned out cool. In both I struggled with the tiles but they are good enough I think.
