Designing Abstraction

For this piece, I am clearly trying to show ideas of form and color, after all the main focus are supposed to be these two elements of art combined into an abstract. This project does not relate to my life, instead I just wanted to have experimenting with color, shapes, and lines.

The create this piece, I began with pencil, than went over that with pen, erasing the pencil marks for a more finished look before lastly adding colors in places that I thought would be visually pleasing.

To start this piece, I began with the outline of one of my squares on the "Intentionally Using the Elements and Principals of Design" worksheet and then from there just began adding cool shapes, forms, and colors that I thought would be visually pleasing, there was no true process to what I was doing, and the viewer cannot track my thought process in my paper because there was not one. This piece still needs work. There are pencil marks that are bugging me, and overall it seems very sloppy.
