Sarah Catherine Packer
Sarah Catherine "Katie" Packer was born on November 12, 1851 in Indiana to Jeremiah Phelan Packer and Mary Ann Horsman. She married Joseph S. Croley on January 16, 1870 in Johnson, Missouri.
The family lived in Iola, Kansas and Blackwell, Oklahoma.
They had at least five children:

Sarah died on December 24, 1918 of "stomach cancer as reported by family - she had no physician" in Carthage, Jasper County, Missouri. She is buried in the Deepwood Cemetery, Nevada, Vernon County, Missouri.

Mrs. Katie Croley died last Tuesday morning a the home of her daughter, Mrs. R.D. Jennison in Carthage Mo. Mrs. Croley lived in Iola for fifteen years and moved to Blackwell, Okla., three years ago. One of her sons, Roy Croley, now lives in Iola. The remainder of the family, four sons and one daughter, live at Blackwell.
