Joseph Long
Born c. 1750 in Scotland. Married Gloria Taylor. Died 1854 in Tennessee.
Joseph came to America in 1769, and settled in Maryland. He fought in the Revolution War.
There is a copy of a DAR application stating Joseph had five sons and one daughter. The first four was born in Maryland and the last two in Virginia. The sons names Alexander, James,John, Joseph Jr, and Isaac. these names were took from early Tax List of 1809 in McCoy's Tax Company
