Warren Douglas Henry

Warren Douglas Henry was born on February 12, 1888 in Lima, Fayette Co., IA to James D. Henry and Hannah Doland. He married Edna Louisa Mann on October 24, 1907 in LeRoy Township, Bremer Co., IA. The 1910 US Census shows the family as living in Albion, Butler Co., IA. Sometime between then and 1912 the family moved to Jasper Co., MO, where Warren Douglas died at 5:20 am on December 29, 1912 of Typhoid fever (of which he suffered from for 25 days). His occupation on his death certificate is listed a farmer. His body was moved back to Frederika, IA for burial. Another source states that he was buried at the cemetery in Alcock, Douglas Twp., Bremer Co., IA.

Noted by another genealogist: "Warren Douglas Henry lived with the Clark Tibbetts family in Frederika from age of seven until manhood. Warren's grandfather Douglas Henry was one of the three pioneering Henry brothers in Bremer County: Douglas, John, and Russell.
