Amanda Keith

Amanda Keith was born February 6, 1818 in Wheeling, West Virginia.

She married James Scott in Logan County, Ohio on Feb 12, 1839.

There is record of Robert Scott marrying Frances Keith in Logan County, Ohio on Dec 5, 1843. There is also a John Scott marrying Mary Margaret Keith on Apr 5, 1842 in Logan County. James Scott died April 1850 in Logan County, Ohio from "brain inflammation." Between 1850-1859 Amanda took her young family to Crawford County, Illinois. There she married Leonard Wheeler on March 9, 1858 in Crawford County.
