Lucinda Norman

Lucinda Norman was born about 1812 in Virginia. She married John Burwell on Jul 12, 1827 in Muskingum County, OH, making her only about 15 years of age when she was married. They had ten children:

5. John W. Burwell, b. Jan 29, 1840, m. Rebecca Grady

6. Byard Burwell, b. abt 1840

7. James J. Burwell, b. Jan 8, 1844, m. Adah Burgan and Nancy Margaret Graham, d. Oct 13, 1907 in Los Angeles, CA

8. Thomas Beall Burwell, b. abt 1844

9. Hannah Elizabeth Burwell, b. abt 1846

10. Albert Claypool Burwell, b. abt 1852

In 1850, the Federal Census has the family placed in Walnut, Pickaway, Ohio.

In 1870, the Federal Census has the family in East Nelson, Moultrie, Illinois.

Lucinda died on March 2, 1877 and is buried in Smyser Cemetery, Gays, Moultrie County, Illinois under the name "Senah Burwell."
