John Kennedy Long
John Kennedy (middle name not verified) Long was born on 21 Jun 1776 in Virginia. He died 1874.
He married Tabitha Woods (born 1774 in MD; died 1813). They had five children:
1. Anna Long, born 1813 in TN, married James Feagins in 1832 in TN, died 1887
2. John Kennedy Long, Jr., born 1795 in Hawkins County, TN, d. Feb 1867 in Davies County, Indiana, buried in Ketchem Cemetery, Odon, Daviess Co., IN. Some records state he was married to Sabilla Ball and Mahala Hastings.
3. Isaac David Long
4. James Long
5. William Long
He married Sarah "Sally" Ball in 1817**. They had four children:

**Sabilla was the wife of John Kennedy Long, Jr. Not sure if there was an additional Sarah Ball that married Sr. or whether these two were mixed up. More research needed.
SABILLA ELIZABETH "SIBBY" BALL 1817 in Hawkins County,
Tennessee, daughter of MOSES JR. and MARY HARDIN. She was born April 23,
1799 in Hawkins County, Tennessee, and died March 22, 1858 in Davies County,
Indiana.
He married Nancy Henard (b. 1800). They had four children:
