Apologies for the delay, I'm currently in a bit of a transitional period, which sort of lends to a crazy schedule for the doing of the comic-type pictures thing.  In a case of doing what I say, not what I do, I've expounded about the benefits of having a buffer for this exact sort of scenario here, and will hopefully have some time in the next couple of days to get a lead on the updates so you'll get them fresh in the AM, as they should be.
