And the build up to the Denver Comic Con continues! Brandon has not had much of a chance to dress up recently and is obviously pretty excited.
Yesterday I mentioned that Liam and I will be sitting on two webcomic panels at the Denver Comic Con with other local webcomic creators. In addition to our special Con comic updates this week, each day we will spotlight a fellow Webcomic Pioneer.
Today we feature Shawn Gustafson and Al Fukalek, creators of THE SPECIALISTS - A webcomic about the world's first superheroes in the Second World War. The story explores the question what if the Nazis developed true Ăśbermenschen (supermen) during World War II and how would the outcome of the war be changed.
Al is is a graphic designer and illustrator. He lives in Lakewood, Ohio with his wife and 4 cats and Shawn is is a computer programmer living in the Denver area. And you can meet both of them at 1:30PM on Saturday and 1:00pm on Sunday in the Hyatt (just across the street from the Denver Convention Center) for the Webcomic Pioneers panel at the Denver Comic Con.
