20131016 Walking the Dead

Zombies have been a big thing for a while now. Many years ago I had a neighbor that tried to get me into Romero and such to no avail. I saw 28 Days Later and the Resident Evil movies, which I enjoyed as action movies, but never got sucked into the whole Zombie genre. That is until I watched The Walking Dead on Netfix. Every episode. In one weekend.

Since then I have been on a Zombie binge watching every zombie movie on Netflix (there is a wide variety of production value) and playing some really cool zombie survival video games.

The Zombiefied cast is not just a nod to the season premiere of The Walking Dead, but to celebrate the annual return the dead to Fort Collins for the Old Town Zombie Fest this Saturday (Oct 19th). Every Fall the undead take over downtown Fort Collins to raise money for Turning Point. 

LUCcomics will be in Old Town square and at The Bizarre Bazaar for the Old Town Zombie Fest. Stop on by and check out this very cool Fort Collins tradition.
