Usually this is the place where Scooter says something about the comic and, if he's feeling particularly civic-minded, would relate said strip to some current event.

Also, to those of you who are easily offended and read stuff into shit that really isn't even there, I don't think Tom's two-o'clock appointment is necessarily meant to be a hipster, or stoner, or whatever.  Probably just one of them slacker-types.
