This month marks the third birthday of LUCcomics. Happy Birthday to us!
It’s hard to believe that we have been doing this for three years. In some ways it feels like we just started. For my part, that I feel that am just now getting the hang of it. When I go back and read our archives, I cringe at my early writing, (soooo many words!) but I still feel very proud at what we have created so far.
I have loved watching the continuing evolution of Liam’s art style. I have always been a fan, but working on a sustained project such as this has given me a greater appreciation of his talent. It is a genuine honor to be working with such an amazing artist.
But the biggest thrill of the last three years has been YOU--- our readers. You have helped make this project very rewarding. I am humbled and flattered by the number of people who have made LUC part of their week. Thank you for “liking” us on Facebook. Thank you for your e-mails of encouragement. Thank you for the e-mails pointing out our mistakes. Thanking you for sticking with us when our real life jobs and lives have got in the way of regular updates. Thank you for showing your support for what we do by buying from our store and by sharing our site with others. And above all… thank you for reading. It is a privilege to have you stop by our little corner of the internet.
