Today marks the end of the first chapter/ story arc. But don’t worry, there are many more to come. LUC has been one of the most fun and satisfying creative endeavors I have had the privilege to work on. I am sincerely grateful about how well this comic has been received in such a short amount of time. I appreciate your positive comments and critical feedback and thank you for your continued support.
We have learned quite a bit in the last month or so. Here is the short list:
Always back up your work. Always.
Sleep can be made up- deadlines are gone forever.
Have a good editor.
Don’t be afraid to ask for help. You would be surprised how many people are willing to do just that.
Boobs rule the internet.
Another new comic on Wednesday. We hope to see you then.
TRANSCRIPT:
Panel 1: INTERIOR APARTMENT - BRANDON'S BEDROOM
Brandon is sitting on his bed looking at a picture we can assume is Karen. At his feet is a cardboard box along with other apparent "mementos" and photos.
Panel 2:
He tapes up the box...
Panel 3:
...And puts it in the back of the closet.
Panel 4:
He sits back on the edge of the bed- and smiles.
Panel 5:
He lies down and switches off the light....
Panel 6:
PHIL: (Through the wall) Are you still thinking about her TaTas?
BRANDON: Good night Phil.
