Here is a fun idea for the advent season. Cut out a large outline of a Christmas Tree using 2 sheets of green construction paper or one piece of green poster board. Display your tree on a bulletin board or wall. Next, cut out 24 one-inch circles from red construction paper to make "ornaments." Each day, have one of your students read the Bible verse(s) that tells about who Jesus is. Discuss what the Bible verse is saying about Jesus. Assign one student to neatly record on one of the red ornaments the word (or words) that describe Jesus. Tape the ornament on the tree. By Christmas, your tree will be filled with ornaments!
