The Timeline is designed to be printed and filled in as the history poem is memorized. It can also be printed as a blank form to be used as a test after the poem is memorized. For younger children the Timeline Worksheet with the list of names randomly listed in the second column can be printed and they can match the correct date to the corresponding person or event.
There follows a game based on the history poem. The game can also be printed as a worksheet and the students can illustrate each block as they learn the corresponding line of the history poem. In our family we took a week to learn each line of the poem. During that week we would study the historical event more closely using the Bible, library books, text books and the encyclopedia.
