Shinengan Hakumeigan Hikarigan
Hakumeigan [Doujutsu]
The Hakumeigan is the doujutsu of House Curow. This unique ability manifests in the users eyes. A genetically engineered trait developed by Raven and the Bene Gesserit for the members of his house. This ability increases the clan members innate talents with yin and yang jutsu as well as allowing them to see in total darkness. However the most devastating effect is the ability to manifest a beam of elementally neutral energy composed of pure nei from the eyes. The house has used these abilities to devastating effect against enemies of the empire gaining them much renown in the empire. In some cases the bloodline is too thin in the clan member and manifests in a divided doujutsu. The Hikarigan for the yang aspect and the Shinengan for the yin aspect.

Hakumeigan (Su): The character can activate this ability as an attack action that costs 6 points of Chakra every round to maintain. The character gains an insight bonus to Defense, Initiative and High Speed Sight, and the ability to constantly See Chakra. He is also able to see through and thus ignore lighter forms of concealment, such as smoke or mist. The character may concentrate for an attack action while his Hakumeigan is active to See Through Chakra for as long as he concentrates (as per technique) and his Hakumeigan remains active. Deactivating this ability is a free action
Shinengan (Su): The character can activate this ability as an attack action that costs 7 points of Chakra every round to maintain. The character gains an insight bonus to Defense, Initiative and High Speed Sight, and the ability to constantly See Chakra. He is also able to see through and thus ignore lighter forms of concealment, such as smoke or mist. The character may concentrate for an attack action while his Shinengan is active to See Through Chakra for as long as he concentrates (as per technique) and his Shinengan remains active. Deactivating this ability is a free action
Hikarigan (Su): The character can activate this ability as an attack action that costs 7 points of Chakra every round to maintain. The character gains an insight bonus to Defense, Initiative and High Speed Sight, and the ability to constantly See Chakra. He is also able to see through and thus ignore lighter forms of concealment, such as smoke or mist. The character may concentrate for an attack action while his Hikarigan is active to See Through Chakra for as long as he concentrates (as per technique) and his Hikarigan remains active. Deactivating this ability is a free action
High Speed Sight (Ex): While the character's Hakumeigan is active he gains the High Speed Sight quality. A character with the high speed sight ability negates any speed bonus to Hide checks a character gains by having speed ranks up to a certain degree mentioned in the character's statistic block, but only for his person. A character with high speed sight 3 spotting against a character with speed rank 5 would negate +3 of the character's +5 speed bonus to Hide checks.
Keen Sight (Ex): While the character's Hakumeigan, Hikarigan , or Shinengan remains active, he gains an insight bonus to perception checks.
Combat Insight (Ex): The character gains an insight bonus to Reflex saves and attack rolls while his Hakumeigan, Hikarigan , or Shinengan is active.
Telescopic Eye (Ex): When concentrating to See Through Chakra, the character can also spend a swift action to gain the ability to see through 1 foot of stone or concrete, 1 inch of metal or up to three feet of wood, plaster walls or dirt per 5 levels, for 1 round. He also suffers a penalty to spot checks only every 50 feet instead of every 10 feet. While this ability is active, he cannot apply his Dexterity bonus to defense against melee attacks, and suffers a -4 penalty to melee attack rolls.
Pseudomortality (Su): This power can be activated as an attack action, and costs 3 points of chakra every 2 rounds to maintain active, and can be deactivated as a free action. While the Pseudomortality effect lasts, the character gains a fast healing supernatural quality
Ageless (Ex): The character stops aging, and no longer suffers penalty from advancing an age category. Any previously applied aging penalty remain, and the character can still die of old age.
Perfect Darkvision (Ex): While the character's Hakumeigan or Shinengan is active he gains the ability to see in total darkness (including magical darkness) up to 60 feet.
Lifeforce Transfer (EX): While the character's Hakumeigan or Hikarigan is active he gains the ability to transfer XX wound points to one of his allies by sacrificing XX wound points of his own total. The character must be within 5 feet of the ally. The transfer is accomplished as a move action. This ability can be used once per day. XX is percentage maximum based on character level, which means when the character gains this ability he can use it to transfer any number of wound points up to 40% of his maximum. This ability can be fatal to a character that is not careful.
Tenketsu Sealing (Su): Up to four times per day, the character may activate this ability
as a swift action as long as his Byakugan is active. This ability enables the character to
directly see the chakra coil system of anything it focuses his eyes on.
The tenketsu sealing ability grants the character a +1 bonus to attack rolls made in any
jyuuken stance, and every successful jyuuken attack deals 1 tenketsu damage to the target
unless it succeeds a Fortitude save (DC 10 + ½ character's level + character's Wisdom
modifier). On a confirmed critical hit, the jyuuken attack deals 2 tenketsu damage (or 3 if
the character's critical multiplier is x3, 4 if it is x4, and so on).
Tenketsu damage to chakra created constructs and objects does not apply—instead, each
point of tenketsu damage dealt deals 1 point of damage to the target. The ability lasts for
1 round when activated.
Enlightened Hakumeigan (Su): While his Hakumeigan is active, the character can only be
flanked by creatures of his level or higher, and can no longer lose his Dexterity bonus to
defense unless caught flat-footed or immobilized.
In addition, when concentrating to use his Telescopic sight, he may make a spot check in
any direction without needing to move. Other conditions that may cause the character to
lose his Dexterity bonus to Defense, such as being feinted against, are still applicable.
Genetic Link (Ex): You can psionically embed your genetic template in your animal companion.
Morale templates such as Aasimar and Teifling can only be applied to an animal companion of the proper alignment.
Twilight Release (Ex): You gain the Yin and Yang release feats.
Harmony Release (Ex): You gain the Chaos and Order release feats.
Dark Energy Ray (Su): Once per day you can strike at an opponent with a ray of pure shadow energy. This is a ranged touch attack that deals 1d6 shadow damage +1d6 per 2 character levels to a max of 5d6. Targets of the Celestial or Order subtype take an extra 2d6 shadow damage.
Light Energy Ray (Su): Once per day your can strike at an opponent with a ray of Light energy. This is a ranged touch attack that deals 1d6 Light damage +1d6 per 2 character levels to a max of 5d6. Enemies of the Fel or Chaos subtype take an extra 2d6 Light damage.
Twilight Energy Ray (Su): Once per day your can strike at an opponent with a ray pure magical energy. This is a ranged touch attack that deals 1d8 Twilight damage +1d8 per 2 character levels to a max of 10d8.
Clan Feats:
All-Seeing Eye
You see all that is around you, and nothing can escape your all-seeing eye.
Prerequisite: Advanced Bloodline (Byakugan) or Advanced Bloodline (Hakumeigan), Byakugan or Hakumeigan Sight, Byakugan +3 or Hakumeigan +3, Keen
Sight +4.
Benefit: Up to three times per day, the character may spend a swift action to gain a
Blindsense 30 feet for 1 round while his Byakugan or Hakumeigan is active. The blindsense is directly
dependent on sight and blindness cancels it.
Battle Ready (Hakumeigan) [Meta-Chakra]
You are quick in activating your Hakumeiganin battle.
Prerequisite: Advanced Bloodline (Hakumeigan), Hakumeigan+2.
Benefit: The character may spend 1 meta-chakra charge to activate the Hakumeigan ability
as a swift action.
Battle Ready (Hikarigan) [Meta-Chakra]
You are quick in activating your Hikarigan battle.
Prerequisite: Advanced Bloodline (Hikarigan), Hikarigan +2.
Benefit: The character may spend 1 meta-chakra charge to activate the Hikarigan ability
as a swift action.
Battle Ready (Shinengan) [Meta-Chakra]
You are quick in activating your Shinengan battle.
Prerequisite: Advanced Bloodline (Shinengan), Hikarigan +2.
Benefit: The character may spend 1 meta-chakra charge to activate the Shinengan ability
as a swift action.
Hakumeigan Sight
Your eye of insight increases while using the Byakugan, never letting anyone catch you
off-guard.
Prerequisite: Advanced Bloodline (Hakumeigan ), Wis 13, Spot 6 ranks, Hakumeigan +2,
Tenketsu Sealing Byakugan.
Benefit: You gain the Enlightened Hakumeigan.
Fartracking Eye
You see what others cannot.
Prerequisite: Advanced Bloodline (Hakumeigan), Hakumeigan +2, Keen Sight +2, Telescopic
Eye.
Benefit: You ignore spot penalties for the first 50 feet when your Hakumeigan is active.
When using the Telescopic Eye, you ignore spot penalties for an additional 100 feet, and
suffer a -1 penalty to Spot checks every 50 feet. When concentrating to see chakra you can
track an opponents chakra at increased range. You can use this with the All Seeing Eye feat to
sense chakra as the ability Sense Chakra.
