Ardat-Yakshi (Chakra) Genetic Defect Microtemplate
Races: Asari, Vulcan, Reman or Special.
This bloodline was meant to allow one to harness its sacred power: the ability to drain Chakra.
Instead, during its creation, something terrible occurred that rendered the one inflicted with this curse unable to generate Chakra on his own.
This ability thankfully manifests only a certain time after one's chakra coils develop from training, but once it does,
creatures afflicted with the curse often die from Chakra exhaustion, those that dont adapt by taking it from others,
Atronach birthsigns are usually Chakra Vampires.(Slang Term)
Saves: The character gains a +2 bonus to saves against Chakra draining and damaging effects.
Skills: The character suffers a -2 penalty to Chakra Control checks.
Special Qualities: Ardat-Yakshi (Chakra)
Level Adjustment: None.
The character recovers absolutely no chakra from resting. The only means to recover one's Chakra is the use of certain chemical, techniques or the Chakra Drain ability. The character cannot recover hit points from resting unless his chakra pool is 1 or higher.
Neural Attunement: (Su):
All characters possessing this Microtemplate may manifest this ability and the target must either be willing or grappled to be able to be subjected to the meld, and if they break the grapple the meld is broken and both the Asari, vulcan, reman or special and the Victim take 1d6 subdual damage.
If the attack was successful, all damage dealt is added to the user's chakra pool, which may not exceed of its normal maximum by more than 1 point per level (a character with a Chakra Pool of 20 may not have a chakra pool greater than 30 if he is level 10).
if asari use asari Chart, if other see below: on addition of the microtemplate roll 1d100 1-33 = tier 1 34 to 66 = tier 2 67 and higher is Tier 3, if you wish to increase the tier to impove the ability spend 4 skill points per tier increase, this ability cannot be downgraded later or removed, the asari produce medication that can supress the effects of tier 1.
Tier 1*: Weakest Version of the Defect,
Deals minor Chakra damage during the process 1d4 per round maintained
Steals 5 XP per round, Gains the damage back as Chakra
* Medication can Suppress the effects of Tier 1.
Tier 2:Standard Version of the Defect, may occasionally be hunted by Justicars if you put anyone into a Coma with the ability.
Deals Significant Chakra damage during the process 2d6 per round maintained
Steals 10 XP per round, Gains the damage back as Chakra
Tier 3: Fatal Version of the Defect, Priority Targets of Justicar Caste.
Deals Extreme damage during the process 3d8 per round maintained
Steals 20 XP per round, Gains the damage back as Chakra
The character can also absorb chakra from the wildlife of sufficient size.
On all living, non sentient being of small size or larger (a big plant or a tree, for example), the character may remain in contact with it for 1 full minute and absorb 5
points of Chakra from it. For every 5 points of Chakra, the being targeted suffers 1d6+2 point of damage that ignores all hardness. Once the target is dead or falls into a coma due to being drained into negative chakra levels, absorbing chakra from it is impossible. In addition, the character is not allowed to double his training schedule because he can replenish his Chakra Pool using this ability.
Bodies drained by the chakra variant of Ardat-Yakshi do not die or Vaporize like the hitpoint variant but instead fall into a coma like state instead when reaching negatives.
