Most Arcosians have red pupils and bodies covered in white, keratinous exoskeletons. They also have reptilian features such as a long tails, three talon-like toes, spikes, and horns. They are adorned with colored gem plates on the head, torso, ankles, wrists, and shoulders. They are also venomous, with some individuals possessing toxic stingers on their wrists. Some Arcosians are known to have hair, but this trait is uncommon.
It is unknown if Arcosians are bi-gendered or mono-gendered as the only members of the race that have been seen have been males. There is relatively little information known about the homeworld of the Arcosians which points to the race having an inherently untrusting nature. The most well known of the Arcosians are King Cold's family line that runs the Planetary Trade Organization, an interplanetary mafia style organization that pays other races to exterminate the population of a planet and then sells it to the highest bidder. While this has made the race profitable it has also earned the ire of many races.
However, most Arconsians do not have an inherently cruel nature and many shun the Cold family line for the reputation it has earned.
-Improved Natural Armor:
Arcosians have developed thick exoskeletons to give them protection against the cold as well as predators giving them DR 2/armor.
-Strong Tail:
-Arcosians have strong tails and often use them in combat. The tail is a natural attack that deals 1d8 points of damage plus the user’s Strength modifier. Arcosians can also attempt to grapple enemies with their tail while their hands are otherwise occupied.
-Cold Weather Tolerance:
Due to their natural resistance to cold environments it take twice as long for Arcosians to succomb to cold weather. Arcosians can go two hours before making a fortitude check against cold weather hazards (instead of the normal one hour per check).
-Vacuum Tolerance II
An Arcosian can survive in the frozen vacuum of space for approximately 40 to 60 minutes, usually losing consciousness in half that time.
