Observations of diffraction to calculate wavelength

Fill in the results table below using the diffraction kits for double slit interference. All slits are 0.025 mm wide.

Draw a sketch of the pattern for red using the smallest gaps:

Take photos for each pattern making sure you have a ruler in the shot. You will then use tracker to measure the band width

How does the colour (wavelength) affect the pattern?

Use Tracker to determine the band length

Use the equation to calculate a value for the wavelength of the filter.
