Unit 1
What ideas explain the physical world?
My decision to start with matter first comes from wanting to begin the course as a story, explaining our understanding of the atom its particles and then the story of how these particles came into existence. Then moving into electricity which focuses on one of these particles, the electron and its interactions with a more macro world and then into thermal which examines the particles of matter again and how energy influences and interacts with them.
