Motion L14 - Time Dilation

OUTCOME

By the end of this lesson you will be able to describe Einsteins two postulates, recognise and calculate the Lorentz factor calculate and time dilation.

A result of Einstein's two postulate is that time is not invariant, it is different depending on the observer. A faster moving object appears to experience time dilation, (its time appears to be slower).

What is time dilation?
