By the end of the lesson you will describe the four forces of flight and how Newton's Laws apply to heavier than air flight.
A good place to start with flight is to have a brief history (in one take)
As the previous video was saying at 2:17, Sir George Cayley was the first to use the idea of Newtonian Physics to attain fixed wing flight.
Aerodynamic forces play a role in any movement through air and must be used, and countered to achieve flight.

Explain
Draw a free body diagram of a cruising airplane. (constant velocity and altitude)
How would the diagram look if the plane was taking off? How about descending to land?
If a fully loaded A380 is required to take off, how much lift is required to do so?
If it has to take off at a maximum acceleration of 4m/s2 for the safety of the passengers, how long of a runway would that require?
