Santa's Journey

Santa from his world of snow

In the Lapland forest’s glow

With his reindeers, fleet of foot

Preparing for his worldly trip

Santa with his sleigh packed high

Dashing through the evening sky

Seeking out the girls and boys

To fill their socks with many toys

Girls and boys from many lands

Know of Santa and his plans

Go to bed with hearts aglow

Waiting for their Christmas show

Morning comes, their eyes so bright

Looking at the many sights

Running here and running there

Showing off a new found bear

Santa then, his race now done

Happy with the children’s fun

Turns his charges, heads for home

One year’s time once more he’ll roam
