Hello Ramland,
We are incredibly happy to share that the construction of our brand new Jim Grasso Fitness Center is coming to a close. Mr. O’Hern, Mr. Fojon, and Dr. Murphy were so thoughtful in creating an opportunity for our seniors and staff members to get a sneak peek of the almost-completed space that will be available this spring. Before all of the trimmings, finishes, flooring, ad equipment is set, the seniors and our staff members were able to sign their names on a few of the steel beams that are currently exposed. Signing the beams brought our sentiment,“This is your school”, to the next level.
We have all been reminded of the importance of wellness as we have fought our way through the pandemic. We have needed to stay socially distant, memorable events have been compromised or canceled, and each of us has been emotionally impacted in some way. Most recently, we were forced to cancel our Relay for Life “Tip Off” basketball event. We are striving to raise our community and individual spirits by coming together for events in meaningful ways.
Relay for Life provides us with an opportunity to come together to raise funds to help the American Cancer Society. The theme for our Relay for Life this year is “Building a Blue Zone” in the fight against Cancer. This theme represents our community working together to construct facilities, events, and a spirit that contributes to our collective and individual well being.
Cancer has impacted so many of our lives, and it took our Athletic Director, Mr. Grasso, from us in August of 2018.We hope to be able to Show off the Jim Grasso Wellness Center at Relay for Life on June 3, 2022. We hope that you will join us in the fight against cancer by participating in at Ramsey High School. Please go to goramstv.com to learn more and to sign up.
As always, thank you for your support and GO RAMS!

Cultivate positive relationships between Ramsey High School students, alumni, and the community, and support alumni in social and professional networking.
This group will encourage participation in alumni sponsored programs and strengthen the connection between alumni and the Ramsey High School Community.
