The Ramsey High School has successfully finished its annual winter concert this past December. The concert was not only a success to the students themselves, but it was also a warming return to the families and friends in Ramsey. It was very prevalent that both Ramsey High School band and chorus members have been working tremendously towards this concert. Their dedication started early on, from the moment that school started. Starting in September, the chorus had focused on learning and practicing the music. The band, after their successful marching season, prepared their repertoires in about a month or so. For the more selective groups in both band and chorus, students had to prepare their auditions in advance and meet after school to practice.
Groups other than the Ramsey High School Chorus and the Concert Band have performed also, including the Pop acapella group: the Ramsey Singers, selective acapella group: Ram Jams, auditioned band: Wind Ensemble, and the Jazz Band. The Wind Ensemble and the RHS Chorus also had a joint piece wishing happy holidays to everyone in the audience. This was a great way to integrate both forms of art displayed during the concert. We would like to thank all of those who came and showed support for the students and especially to the parents who helped and allowed the concert to happen in December!
