"Wednesday Night Lights "
Having played football I was not used to being in the coaches position. Watching and observing the game to direct the team and plan ahead was new for me. Although it was new for me it was a crucial part as coach. Planning the game was my job in the game and the rest was up to the players. This taught me to have complete trust in the rest of the team to carry out the plan. Coaching gave me a whole new perspective on the game and taught me a lot.
The skills I learned from coaching the game I believe will stay with me and prove useful in what I plan to do with me life. After highschool I plan to study entrepreneurship. The team building from the game is completely universal as teams are very common in the workplace especially in entrepreneurship. Throughout the game I watched my players as well as the opposing to see if there were changes that could be made for my teammates to excel. After moving some players around whether from offense to defense or various positions; our team began running more smoothly and became more efficient. This taught me to observe, improvise, and find opportunities to utilize plans or players to their potential. Although I may retire as coach (to keep that 100% win record) there is no doubt I bring these skills with me throughout my life.
