The Ramsey School District honors and is proud of every student who walks through their doors. Ramsey has always been known for their impressive alumni, and they always love to talk about the great students that have passed through their doors. There is one alumni in particular who Ramsey is lucky enough to still have in their high school walls today; Ms. Falcone. Ms. Falcone is a Ramsey grad of 1992 and is currently a teacher at RHS. Although she only attended the middle school for one year, having moved to Ramsey from St. Charles, Missouri her summer going into eighth grade, she is proud to call Ramsey her second home.
Ms. Falcone went to Smith Middle School for eighth grade when she first moved to Ramsey, and continued on through the school district until her senior year of high school. In high school she was very successful in and out of the classroom. Within the classroom she mastered both algebra and history with her classmates. Outside of the classroom she was very successful in sports as well. She proved she was a leader to her peers and teammates by being voted a captain of both her basketball and volleyball teams, as well as earning a varsity letter in three different sports.
After graduating RHS in 1992, Ms. Falcone went on to study at Ithaca College to become a biology major. She later returned to RHS in 2000 to teach biology, after teaching at Parsippany Troy Hills High School. She is more than happy to be back in what she calls her second home teaching with colleagues that were once her own teachers and coaches. She emphasizes the fact that there is a sense of family at Ramsey High School. “They were, and many continue to be, an inspiration and pleasure to work alongside each day,” Ms. Falcone had said about her colleagues. Having Ms. Falcone back at RHS is both a pleasure and a privilege because of her deeper connection to Ramsey, and as she said, she knows “what it means to be a Ramsey Ram”!
