The Credit Hour reports allow verification that the Credit Hour Database is up to date after any revision of course content and provides comprehensive reports of Credit Hour data to facilitate HLC visits and enquiries. CIMS uses course status form the course list, pulls project information data from the master project schedule, and draws Credit Hour data from the Credit Hour database.
The Credit Hour Database reporting feature can be accessed in CIMS and used on-demand to capture real-time or historical Credit Hour Database data based on the real-time status of courses and projects in CIMS.
To access - Use "Reports' tab and select "CH DB Report"
There are three types of CH Db reports that can be run:
Launch term Report
Specified Period Report
Comprehensive Report
Launch Term Report
Will include a list of courses with projects identified for the selected launch term in the MPS that are not "closed - cancelled" and have “yes” in the Unit Time Allocation field. For each course listed, CH DB data that has been entered for the specified launch term will be included in the report.
Required Parameter - select launch term (options from CIMS timeline) Note: due the amount of data that could be generated, please do not ever select more than 5 launch terms at a time.
The report will include data for all courses with open, awaiting reschedule, closed - completed or over-capacity projects in MPS for specified launch term and “yes” in the Unit Time Allocation field.
The report can be viewed in CIMS and/or exported to excel.
Specified Period Report
The Specified Period report will include a list of courses that have projects on the MPS with launch terms that have an associated term start date that is within the specified date range of the report. It will include all projects that are not "closed - cancelled" and have “yes” in the Unit Time Allocation field. For each course listed, the CH DB data that has been entered for the MPS launch term will be included in the report.
Comprehensive Report
The Comprehensive report will include a list of all active courses in the CIMS Course list that do not have “Exempt” in the UTA Status field.
For each course listed, data from the most recent CH DB record will be included in the report.
