The Active Course Review report will provide an overview of Active Courses for the determination of the budget needs for required/desired revisions in the upcoming year.  The report includes current course information for priority evaluation, such as the number of sections run in the past year; launch term of the last full revision, any scheduled revisions, course issues submitted, or textbook updates reported by procurement in the past year. 

Report Parameters

School – draws from Schools list in CIMS - Multi-select - default to ALL

 Course – draws from active courses in CIMS course list - Multi-select – default to ALL

The report will include all active courses (excluding the following course types - Project Placeholder, Special Project,  Service Learning or Student Life Org)

Total Enrollment for Past Year – shows the total enrollment for the previous Academic Year.  The data comes from the Enrollment Class List, which is updated by import at the beginning of each Academic Year (July 1st)  

 Last Full Revision Launch – shows launch term of most recent non–cancelled FULL revision scheduled in MPS that does NOT have a Project Title of “Template Conversion Only” 

NOTE: In the display the launch term will be an active link to the project in CIMS.  There will be 2 columns in the exported report; term and url for the project.)

Relevance Risk – if the year of the Last Scheduled Full Revision launch term start is

4 or more years from current year = Very High

3 years from current year = High

2 years from current year = Medium

1 year from current year = Low

Equal to or greater than current year = None

Last Revision Launch – launch term of most recent closed – completed project in the MPS

Course Issues in past year – includes [term code] [course issue type] [issue type] [created date]  of all associated course issues that have been created in the past year from date of report

Textbook Alerts - Includes the following information from the textbook list if the date in the CS Alert field is within the past year on any current textbook record (associated with the course): date (from CS Alert field) - ISBN (from ISBN field)- text (from Action Required field)

Updating Enrollment Class List (Admin Only)

The Enrollment Class list will be updated by import once a year on July 1st (beginning of new Academic Year) with the total enrollment numbers from the previous Academic Year.
