The Sr. Manager CMS Development or Sr. Manager Instructional Technology is responsible for running the Migration Report each term and verifying that the revised content migrated for the scheduled launch term. Once projects are verified as migrated, the Sr. Manager CMS Development may use the Set as Migrated feature to move the projects into a Closed – Completed status on the Project Schedule.
Navigate to Project Schedule (MPS).
Filter for desired Launch Term.
Filter for specific courses in which migrated content has been verified.
Select "Set as Migrated."
When you select "Set as Migrated" a caution dialog windows will appear to confirm that us what you want to do.
If you have filtered for projects for more than one Launch Term, you will see warning error dialog box:
Return to MPS.
Filter for desired single Launch Term.
Select "Set as Migrated."
You will see another confirmation window.
Select OK.
You will be taken to a Migration Report Page to verify once again the projects selected.
If the list is correct, select "Submit Migration."
The system will update the following fields associated with the project records that were selected in your filter.
Project Status will be changed to Closed - Completed.
Migration Status will be changed to Term Class Migrated to eCollege.
Return to MPS, filter for migrated Launch Term, and verify that status updates have been successful.
