Several reports will be available to C&I management via CIMS Course Issues. Access to the Reporting feature is restricted. Any user that does not have access and desires a report should contact the C&I Operations Manager.
Available reports include:
Course Issues Average SLA
Course Issues Count
Issue Count by Activity
Overdue Course Issues
Issues by Term
New Course Issues
In Progress Course Issues
If you have permission to access the Course Issues Reports you will see a "Course Issue Report" button at the top of the Course Issues page navigation. See screenshot below.
Clicking the Course Issue Report button will open the Reports page.
Select which report you want to run.
Set filters for desired reported parameters
Select "Run Report."
Completed report will be visible in CIMS and exportable to Excel.
The SLA Report will provide the average SLA information over a period of time. Filters allow you to select a year or designate a date range time period. You can also filter the report to include all or specific schools.
The Course Issues Count Report provides an overview of the number of issues submitted for a period of time. Filters allow you to select a year or designate a date range time period. You can also filter the report to include all or specific schools.
The Course Issues Activity Report provides data on the specific activities (from the Activity field in the Course Issue ticket) that have issues reported over a specific period of time. Filters allow you to select a year or designate a date range time period. You can also filter the report to include all or specific schools.
Note: Because multiple activities can be selected on a single Course Issue ticket, the total count in this report will be higher than in the Course Issues Count Report.
The Overdue Report will list all of the Course Issues that are currently not closed or completed beyond their established due date/SLA date.
There are no filters associated with this report. This report provides the following Course Issue information:
School, Course Number, Date Created
SLA Date, Total Time Since Creation, Status
Course Issue Type, Activity, Sub-Status
Curriculum Specialist, Staff Assigned, Hold Date (if applicable)
Hold Reason and Placed on Hold by
The Issues by Term Report will provide a listing of issues submitted for selected terms. It brings in basic Course Issue data and information from the Project Schedule for any course that was revised in the term an issue was reported. This report captures the impact on Course Issues in times of transition. Causes can be content changes, technology upgrades, or changes in third-party activities.

The New Report provides a list of all Course Issues that do not have a closed/completed date and have a status of "New." It can be filtered to show a specific school, course, or Curriculum Specialist. Note: There are not often items that remain "new" long enough to appear in this report.
Once a school or schools are selected, the course choices will populate.
The In Progress Report provides a list of all Course Issues that have a status of "In Progress." It can be filtered to show all In Progress issues for a specific school, course, or Curriculum Specialist.
