The Curriculum Design team has created a Course Development Feedback Survey to collect information from the SME/CL at the completion of each course development/revision. Five days after the "CMS Audit Fixes Complete" date on the timeline for each revision, the system will auto-email the SME listed for the project with the anonymous survey to complete. If no SME is listed, the CL for the course is emailed instead. The survey measures the experience and support throughout the development process and has an optional area for feedback.
The "Email Notification" button in CIMS Admin provides a way to disable the workflow and stop the emails from generating. The workflow can be paused in case of necessary changes to the survey, by request of the Executive Director of Curriculum Design (ex. over holidays), or it is determined that survey collection should be stopped indefinitely. Disabling the email notification should typically be done by the Senior Manger of Curriculum Operation, who owns the maintenance of the survey.
The button is located under the "Admin" tab in CIMS.
To turn off the email notification, select the "Turn Off" button. You will get a pop-up to confirm if you want to continue with your change. The "Feedback Survey Notification Status" will change from "Active" to "Inactive."
