CTF Wildlife

Course Overview and Materials

This course teaches students about the crime of poaching, and why it is important to stop poaching. Students then learn about how poaching cases are investigated, and how a special branch of forensics called "wildlife forensics" is used. They investigate case studies from Alberta, and will be asked to solve a poaching case at the end of the course! Students also learn about the different careers available in this area.

This is an optional Career & Technology Foundations (CTF) course for Grade 5-9 students.

Fees apply to Out-of-Province, International, and Educational Services Agreement (ESA) enrollments.
