“Together in Partnership”
The MSHSL and its partner organizations will again be hosting eight regional student meetings which are designed to bring student voice and involvement in continuing the work toward safe, respectful, and inclusive programs, events and contests. Led by League staff members and coaches and administrators from member schools, this workshop approach will build off of the MSHSL Behavior Expectations developed by our student leaders this past year and provide opportunities for students to work together in developing plans for even greater involvement and improvement in all member schools. All MSHSL Member Schools are encouraged to engage in this empowering experience. The League is inviting up to ten students per school to participate in these meetings.
The meeting locations include the following:
Sept. 11: Lincoln High School, Thief River Falls
Sept. 14: Rock Ridge High School
Sept. 18: Perham High School
Sept. 25: Two Rivers High School
Sept. 26: Sauk Rapids-Rice High School
Sept. 26: Rochester Event Center
Sept. 27: Redwood Valley High School, Redwood Falls
Sept. 28: Metro West (Site TBD)
For additional information, you may call the MSHSL main line at 763-560-2262, or email Charlie Campbell at ccampbell@mshsl.org, or Lisa Quedow at lquednow@mshsl.org.
Leadership Matters!
Given the NFL begins its regular season this weekend, it is only fitting we have this quote from the highly successful and respected coach of the Pittsburgh Steelers, Mike Tomlin. That said, Go Vikings!
