More to the Story re: Recent Executive Order on Federal Funding
According to NBC news, Karoline Leavitt, the White House press secretary, said the OMB memo was “pulled back,” but the administration’s efforts to stop federal funding remains.
On January 29, NBC reported that Karoline wrote on X, "This is NOT a rescission of the federal funding freeze. It is simply a rescission of the OMB memo. Why? To end any confusion created by the court's injunction. The President's EO's on federal funding remain in full force and effect, and will be rigorously implemented."

Legislative Breaks Announced for 2025 Session
Eid break will begin on March 29, 2025 and the legislature will be in recess through Monday, March 31, 2025. Committees and legislative activities may resume on Tuesday, April 1, 2025.
Easter/Passover break will begin on April 11, 2025, at 12:00PM and the legislature will be in recess through Monday, April 21 2025 at 12:00pm.
