Would Love to Hear your Thoughts!
Participants at the MASA Fall Conference were able to utilize a tool called ThoughtExchange to let MASA know what their top priorities are for the next legislative session and to provide input on the five belief statements that are fundamental to the work of MASA. If you were unable to attend the conference, now it’s your turn to share your thoughts!
After you answer a few demographic questions, you'll be asked to respond to one open-ended question, consider and assign stars to some of the ideas shared by others (20 to 30 is ideal), and learn what's important to the group.
Your thoughts and stars are confidential. You can come back as often as you'd like to participate and, in fact, I ask that you do come back to star some of the new ideas shared since you first participated. The ratings will help us understand the most important areas to focus on.

Survey Request From the Curriculum Component Group
During a recent Instructional Leaders network meeting a request as to how teaching/learning departments are structured across the state led to a survey opportunity for the curriculum component group. Many districts are represented in that group, but if MASA members don't have an official teaching/learning person, they might not have had an opportunity to participate in the survey. Here's the link to offer feedback should you wish to participate.
Complying with New Cybersecurity Incident Reporting
New legislation has specific reporting requirements that are explained here. The law, when and what to report and an FAQ assist in understanding what actions school districts need to take. I believe you and/or your technology leader will find this information helpful.
