Save the Date: Back to School Conference with MDE
MASA will once again host MDE’s annual Back to School Conference on August 6, 2024. The conference will be held at the Marriott Northwest and take place from 8am-4pm. We hope you mark your calendars and plan to attend!
Education Conferees Announced
Senators Cwodzinski, Maye Quade and Abeler, will join Representatives Pryor, Hill, and Bennett on the Education Conference Committee. They will review the latest drafts of the Omnibus Bill from both the House and Senate and work to come to agreement on one bill to be presented before both Houses of the legislature for floor votes. Senators Cwodzinski, Maye Quade and Representatives Pryor, and Hill are Democrats. Senator Abeler and Representative Bennett are Republicans.

The results of the reconsideration process for three curricula, CKLA, Foundations A-Z and 95 Phonics Core Program were discussed in this session led by staff from MDE and CAREI.
