New MASA Officers Effective May 20, 2024
Given that the current MASA President Dr. Joe Gothard resigned his position in the Saint Paul Public Schools to return to his hometown of Madison, WI effective May 17, the executive officers referred to the bylaws for direction on how to fill the officer positions. After discussion, they have decided the following officers will assume their positions effective next Monday instead of July 1:
President: Dr. Ann-Marie Foucalt | (installed six weeks early)
President-Elect: Dr. Stacie Stanley | (installed six weeks early)
Past-President: Dr. Matt Hillmann | (will remain Past-President an additional year)
Treasurer: Dr. Scott Thielman | (no change)
Standing Committee Chairs and Chair-Elects for the 2024-2025 School Year
The MASA President-Elect has the responsibility to identify the chair-elects for the upcoming school year. The chairs were approved in the 2023-2024 school year.
The following individuals have been identified by President-Elect Stanley and will be recommended to the Board of Directors at their June Board Retreat for final approval:
