*Nonexclusionary Discipline from MDE: 

Trauma-Sensitive Discipline Policies and Procedures. This guide is part of a larger “Leading Trauma Sensitive Schools” training package, designed for administrators leading efforts to  adopt a trauma-sensitive approach for their school or district.

• The Little Book of Youth Engagement in Restorative Justice: Intergenerational Partnerships for Just and Equitable Schools. This book is a guide to "Youth Engagement in Restorative Justice grounded in liberatory consciousness." It utilizes case studies and highlights schools and districts across the country that are implementing nonexclusionary discipline as well as youth engagement.

• Effective Teacher Professional Development. This report offers insight into effective teacher professional development.

• A Pedagogy of Play. Harvard's school of education recently published this book focused on the importance of play to accessing the learning centers of the brain, including adult learners. 

Keywords or Verbs?

When you want information do you use Google or AI? Of course you use one or the other, maybe both, but did you know that...

… Google works best when entering keywords. For example, if you are looking to buy an 

e- bike, you simply might enter something like, “best e-bikes available.” 

…AI is most effective when using verbs. Back to the e-bike example, you might write, “Please predict how someone who has never ridden an e-bike might do.” Using the word “please” has also been shown to be preferred by AI!
