Legislation Concerning School Resource Officers, School Staff and the Use of Reasonable Force

The House Education Policy Committee will hear this proposed bill on February 12, the opening day of the 2024 legislative session, around the grounds to use reasonable force in schools. Superintendent Model Contract Finalized

On Wednesday, February 7,  all superintendents received an email from MASA with a copy of the new superintendent model contract that has been in the works for almost a year. The title of the document attached to the email inaccurately read, “proposed model contract.” I apologize for the error on our part. The document superintendents received was the final model contract updated with consensus from MSBA. You can find a copy of the all member email and links to the final document here!
