A Session on the READ Act Approved Curricula for MASA Members Only!
After hearing many questions about the approved curricula selected by MDE and CAREI, along with the process for selecting those approved and the reconsideration process for those not approved, I reached out to CAREI’s Director, Kim Gibbons, and Assistant Commissioner Bobbie Burnham requesting a one-hour virtual session on Monday, February 5, at 10:00 am, for MASA members only. Please register here for the session.

Revised Model Contract for Superintendents Available the Week of February 5
Look for the updated model contract in your inbox next week. After conversations with MSBA and the attorney who represents MASA, we have come to an agreement on changes to the current model contract. While some of your school boards do not use the model contract, many do. We hope you find the changes beneficial.
