AASA Governing Board President Installation

Congratulations to Minnetonka Schools Superintendent David Law on his installation as President of the AASA Governing Board on July 8. We’re proud to have you representing Minnesota and the nation. David’s leadership and voice will be a strong force for public education!

Superintendent Salary Survey Data Released!

Thanks to all of you who submitted your contract data so that MASA could compile the information by region and statewide. If you submitted your data, you received an email with the data from MASA staff member Taylor Ethen. Please do not share this information.

MASA also has some curriculum leader salary information from 2024. In the late spring of 2026 we will once again conduct the salary superintendent survey and add a new survey for assistant/associate superintendents.

Interesting Data on Superintendent Changes for 2025-26!

We have 61school  districts who will start this year with a different leader than last year which is up from 43 the previous year.  Of the 61, 34 are brand new superintendents. There were 19 brand new superintendents last year. Mentors, please recommend that these brand new superintendents attend Great Start beginning July 16!
